The Teaching Methods of Jesus

When Nicodemus came to Jesus, he said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God” (John 3:2). The Master Teacher Jesus was not an ordinary rabbi. He did not just teach the Way; He was the Way. His method of teaching was Hebrew by nature, which is relationship motivated, seeking to shape the student’s heart, not just his mind. The people were astonished at His teaching, “for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes” (Mark 1:22). This class will examine Jesus’ divine methods of imparting the truths of the nature and character of God through His teaching, and how to apply these same methods in your ministry to others.
